Four weeks ago my mother was rushed to the hospital with a blod clot in her brain. It was a terrifying night, with me and my boyfriend driving from hospital to hospital, while my mother was partly paralysed and being transferred to more and more serious places. Luckily, she managed to escape the experience with no harmful effects - she can walk, talk, and behaves exactly like she used to. But it was quite a scare for both of us.
I love her in a way no words can describe, and almost losing her was frightening in a whole new way.
But she's alright now. That's what's important.
