Oh Jinx, forever a charmer.

Ok, a short note since, after the Moor 'reveal' page a couple of pages ago, my number of readers plummeted. I feel that the 'faves' number and the reveal were connected so I'll rantish a bit.
That reveal was tying up the loose end of "What happened to Moor?". Revealing that a supposedly dead character isn't really as dead as we thought is always a tricky subject to do as a writer, as people tend to see it as either cheapening the impact of the character's perceived passing, or as a terribly manipulative way to get your readers invested in a bad story. (Or something.)

Moor was not intended to really 'die', but his 'demise' was a turning point Pita needed in the story. I don't feel that, finally revealing to you guys that he wasn't truly dead in every sense of the word dead, was cheapening what you felt when he walked into the light, as you have to remember, Boon stated he's in a place that only someone with the strength of his father could even hope to get to.

Currently there's no one in the story with that kind of strength. So Moor could be stuck there forever and Taro will just go on forever thinking he's gone.

Will I really do that? I dunno yet. The story is still writing itself.

So I do send out my sincere apologies for anyone who felt cheapened or betrayed by the reveal, and I hope you haven't completely written off my story for good. Unless you just really think it's terrible, and then I wish you well in your future endeavors.

Believe me when I say, the reason why the collection of pages depicting Moor's 'final moments' when he watches Jack be born are so simply drawn is because I was bawling up a storm while penciling it. Plus the simplicity had deeper artsy meanings, but yeah. I knew what was going to happen and I still cried.

Thanks for the input on updates and y'know…I have been trying to think of a good Boon/Buhi t-shirt idea but I haven't come up with anything yet…I thought pigs flying would be too predictable and uninteresting but it is -there-, so maybe I should poke at it a bit…

Kou the Mad-Hehe, you'd be a threat to Jinx, trust me, for you are male and Pita is the type of girl to go for a guy not based on looks alone.

MOrgan-thanks for the input! Maybe I'll aim for bi-weak…I mean, bi-weekly at first and then see what I can work myself up to. :D
