I really enjoyed making this page. I drew this when I was uploading Prologue on devonlegacy.com and looking at the backgrounds I'd drawn (or lack there of). Most rooms are so empty and without personality in my earliest works. Mostly cause I hated drawing that stuff and it felt tedious.
I don't really feel that way about them now though.
Another thing I wanted to do on this page is practice drawing from the same angle. My 1st thought was to copy paste Rick's heads and just change the expression but that doesn't help me practice consistency any. I thought I did a decent job with that but without even saying it I showed the page to a friend and they mentioned I need to work on my consistency and should have just copy pasted. :P
————– Vickie: Didn't get time to respond to your last comment on page 16~ I think my problem is that I started having a "wrong" reason to motivate and update. Instead of making pages for pages sake and my own enjoyment I was wanting to be sure I could devote the same time I could with Prologue. Then thing after thing would happen and I knew I couldn't have a "popular" comic if I couldn't be producing works on a level similar to Prologue. Which was sort of depressing/upsetting so I'd do something else instead.
But after all these years it's finally obvious that won't happen so I should just make pages and post whenever LOL Or nothing will ever advance. Popularity and audience be darned. Like I originally thought when I began Prologue.
