I almost thought about putting a disclaimer page 1st. If anything pushes my T+ rating it is probably these latest few pages.
I'm just hoping that since it won't last much longer and that it's such a small section of my 300+ page comic that it won't force the Prologue into a Mature rating. If it does, that's the way the cookie crumbles I suppose. :P
I actually feel bad for Sally, especially as I color these pages. That's when it really starts looking brutal. Though that's the reaction I WANT people to have. Many occasions I would take the focus off of the violence. Usually what you can't see is MUCH worse. But for this scene I actually thought it would be worse to see it happen to her. Though I must be getting softer. I thought about censoring myself…
In my shed I found something that really shows how times have changed with violent images. My stash of Garbage Pail Kids cards I had as a kid. Many violent and/or revolting. I can't believe they sold that stuff to little kids LOL. Made this page seem TAME!
Anyway, I don't do excessive "gory" violence too often (it looses punch). It's funny cause when Cutter Grand lost his leg it wasn't an issue at all. But Sally really doesn't deserve all of THIS!!! :(
replies: usedbooks: Yeah, this swiping method leaves a much quicker faster impression on the readers than slow torturous bludgeoning/tearing… And even I don't know if I could SHOW that happen to poor Sally.

The stains on old pages are either coffee or soda. I always drew in the floor at home and had my comics I drew and drinks nearby. And had lots and lots of people always running through the house. I never learned! Okay, now I have. I don't keep drinks near my cintiq :P
