Are you tired of seeing all this hopelessness yet? This issue has been pretty depressing so far…

I apologize for being some hours behind today.
You ever have one of those days where you just sit at the screen/tablet/paper and can't seem to focus?
You can't even do anything else because you notice the hours have ticked away and you NEED TO BE WORKING to get the page done. Yeah, that was yesterday. I've been redesigning my website and volunteered for extra work. Basically I overloaded myself :P

A really good new page of FIGHT came from it though. You should go take a look.

So, Sally's dead, all the Cyros aside from the handful on this damaged ship are dead. And seems Fenny has decided to go ahead and use the surrender card.

To bad they don't realize the Pred's intentions are to obliterate 75% of the humans regardless. They didn't get to hear the Master revealing the plan to Codo before he killed him.
Now that I finally uploaded the page I can comment on the comics I didn't get around to reading yesterday. =D

usedbooks: The terminal illness helped move her along. Combined with her friendship with Fenny it actually gave her the drive to try and rescue Fenny.

Originally I wasn't going to reveal she had a terminal illness till later. But the more I thought about it the more I knew it would be really useful to the story if I revealed it before she died. Not to mention it gave me a reason for MPG to beam her in, then kill her himself. Since she was going to die premature anyway he didn't want to "fix" her. I stabbed all the readers in the heart when I killed her :(

Heck, I think even you was doubting she would die. In this comic? c'mon!

patrickdevine: Well, with all the blood and red coloring covering everything it is a bit tougher to make out.
I was hoping the thumping sound of her heart would help clarity a bit. Ah well. And you think Fenny could die? When do I kill characters in my comic? :P

blntmaker: I was kinda hoping the fact that Sally was "done in" would be a twist of it's own. Even though almost every character has died in the prologue. I think it surprised a few to see her go.

DAJB: Well, if she can be alive without a heart… everyone will totally make fun of her. I'd rather be dead too.

Doctor Shadow: Well, I have to say I like that description!

Peipei: Yeah, hope is a bit out the window on this one it seems now.

dueeast: Yeah, it looks kinda "normal" in the blue version :P

Aghammer: Heh, actually I had been waiting so many years to draw it that it came out really fast. I've been ready to draw this ever since I 1st threw this comic onto DD 2 years ago!

Heh, nope… I'm not into retcons. I do have some stuff where right now I tell you 1 thing is fact but later you find out it's something different. Since it's planned is that a retcon? :P

albone: I actually overkill a lot IMO. I have just been holding back all this time. I only need the overkill for certain scenes. And I knew that I wanted EXTREME overkill for Sally's death. It gives it more atrocious impact! So your response is one I was hoping for with readers.
This-this is too much!

edbang: Well, in the new movie Cranked the main character uses a fake heart he has to charge with car batteries and such… maybe….

Mace: I didn't research anything. I just figured she would still be alive until her brain didn't get it's oxygen. Still I doubt she last 3 minutes. Just a few seconds till this killed her.

mlai: I wonder if toxins could flood the brain without blood pumping?

ZamieCat: Should be, I built it up long enough =p
