Whoa… this it it! The longest prologue ever has finally came to an end!!! @_@

Two and a half years in the making. Man I didn't expect it to take so long heh. I don't really know what to say here. This feels a bit weird. I've been waiting to finish this up for SO LONG!

Now you'll really want to keep an eye on my DL Abridged, the Download CBR, and the cast pages. I'll be able to focus more on those to catch them up.

The CBR link will have cbr versions of the comics that you can download to your PC and PDF files. I may throw in some PSD files so you can see how I put some pages together.

Now to mention loose ends that were NOT tied up in the Prologue.
In issue 1.0 Power Grand tells Cutter Grand that it was the humans that sent the Preds the location of the underground base. Nothing was mentioned of this again.

Issue 1.5: Practically this whole issue. What happened to the peace talks with Robert Siegfried? Who were the 3 people that stole files and destroyed Eden? And what happened to Kevin? He never appeared in issue 3 even after Project Warrioress and Upgrade One were killed.

What was the War of Power about?

What happened to Jessica Fay Zeq and Sona Flourint Hess from Atlantis? Or Vedrick Von Col for that matter?

And other things like where is Den? What is the deal with GIA? Eve in general.

Let me know any loose ends I may have missed. I could have forgotten to mention them or I may not have even noticed I created one. In fact, give me feedback in general.

What was your favorite issue? Least favorite? What do I need to improve on the most in story writing, layouts, art, etc. What do you WANT to see? Not saying you will always get what you want but this is the time to gauge me.

The Prologue was fun and very annoying at the same time. The thing I loved/hated the most is that it never slowed down. The whole story was supposed to be a bubble gum story. A ride from point A to point B with little time to really get to know any characters. All that important stuff was to be shown in much greater detail in the next story.

But I couldn't keep to that idea. I revealed a lot more of Fenny and Sally than I intended. I wasn't going to explain Sally's condition, nor reveal Fenny's inner child struggle. There is still a LOT to reveal about the two though. The prologue is the only story that I made up in the late 90s as a teen that I didn't want to totally revamp. It was a self servicing nostalgia trip to retell such a off the wall story. I upgraded it just enough to make sense. But the spirit still remains intact. The 16 year old in me is finally happy and can rest in peace :3

The main thing I learned about the online comic medium that I will take with myself as I rescript the new story is the time it takes to make an issue complete. I will try much much harder to make each issue it's on story. I tried it here but this alien story felt too much like a run on story since there was barely any breaks at all. The best single story issue was issue 4 which happens to be one of my favorites as well.

Thank you all for supporting me. I didn't expect to garner an audience. I sure didn't think I would ever be in the top 10 on Drunk Duck. When I return I guarantee I will be good enough to finally be featured. But I have a tough road ahead. I have to improve so much. The next stories are much more daunting in my view than this one. And the issues are more serious at times. So I have to be able to back that up with better writing and art.

Again thank you for reading The Devon Legacy Prologue. I really hoped you enjoyed the roller coaster ride. And I look forward to seeing you browse on over to "The Devon Legacy" once that comic starts up. I'll be posting all the covers I received on the next update days. I'll probably throw some character design sketches to give you a glimpse of what's in store. And when "the Devon Legacy" starts updating I'll update here to tell everyone as well.

The Legacy begins next year! I'll reply on this page since there are no more "legit" updates. So if you give feedback please look back for replies. *passes out
