Winner of the Best Completed Comic 2009!!!

WHOA!!! I actually WON something! I don't know how to tell all of you how much I appreciate your votes!

For those that may not know I have won the Best Completed Comic Award for this year's DD Awards ceremony.

This page is not just to thank you. It's to give you an update on where I am with my art and to give you a peak at 2 of the new characters you'll grow to know in The Devon Legacy Fathums.

And as if that isn't cool enough I am having a very good week because I got new FAN ART Yesterday! It's so good I'm going to put it up here on Monday as well!

And last but not least I have been going back and tweaking old pages for print. I combined a lot of silly splash pages from the very 1st issue, updated some fx, and improved the aliens speech bubbles. I also reworded a few things and fixed typos.

So far only issue 1.0 is updated on here. But I am done with 1.5 and almost done with 2. Everything will be updated soon.

Feedback on the art, coloring, fonts, word balloons, etc is welcome. My current focus has been emotions, body language, hands, feet, anatomy, balance, proportions, and clothing folds. I'm going to be adding scenery practice into my daily routines soon too. So far I think I am on the right track.
