The Devon Legacy Prologue
Author notes
Last page was actually Fenny launching herself. She didn't slip. My original layout would have been much clearer as it was going to be straight side view. However I decided to go a bit more dynamic by attempting to have Fenny leap toward the screen. I figured it would look like a slip at 1st but I think this page and the next will help to show it was a leap. Keep in mind Fenny has super strength and endurance. Which is why this devastating landing didn't injure her much. The last panel I did an eye swirly effect. For about a year I have known I may do this. I didn't know if I wanted to cartoon up this comic that much or not. You may notice I don't use chibis and such. Basically what finally made me decide to go ahead and use the swirly effect for this comedic purpose is that mlai got away with it in Fight using Cat. Reading mlai and Ed's comments on the "comedic disfigurement" made me see the light a bit to add swirly eyes as they had been in my draft.
