No doubt many of you already guessed this.

But to reply to Ulthor from the previous page…"Why didn't they figure it out themselves."

Well, think of it, they were so hostile to each other and covetous of their own keys they wouldn't get near enough to each other to realise that the keys fit together.

Their jealousy kept them from their prize.

Only their co-operation made the obvious come to light.
