ECS #106 - The Comic Without A Retarded By-Line

I'm probably gonna end this whole crossover mania thing soon. I feel it's losing its touch.

In other news, we have a very large small problem.

I've been officially accepted to go on exchange to Japan starting in March. I'm pretty damn pumped up to go. Problem is, this will likely interfere with my comic updating and such. I've been told to expect a half hour of computer time per day; just enough to make a comic every week, but there are other problems in my way.

In order to continue making comics while in Japan, I'd obviously need a computer with that kind of capability. I currently don't own a laptop, and it'd be a pretty big expense to buy one; getting the necessary money would be hard. I love the comic and all, but I'm not sure I'd be willing to drop $1000 on a laptop that I may not have a use for when I get back, just so I can continue updating. I also can't just load Photoshop onto the host family's computer. Morality reasons aside, I'd also have to consider that a program as complex as Photoshop written in English code would probably not work on a Japanese OS.

So, yeah, a problem.
