Not much art involved in this one. More story involved.

I'm not sure if I'm going to get the chance with explaining Thomas' 'extra' hands any time soon, so I'm going to do so now.

They're like extra hands that he can do pretty much anything with. Except they can't go any further from his body than normal hands can. And also, he needs the gloves in order to use them. The gloves ARE the hands.
