Okay, first to everyone who's congratulated me on the feature, thank you. It's a complete surprise and an honor. Really. Thanks to who ever chose me as well.
Secondly, I think it's funny that it happened on a day when I wasn't able to update! I knew this one would be a day late though.
Secondly, a big welcome to everyone who's coming here for the first time. I hope you enjoy my story. As with most things like this they start small and end up snowballing as far as story goes.
Lastly, big thanks to JT and Scott for getting my Nightgig site back up and running so soon. You guys are awesome and the reason it's a joy to be a member of the Nightgig family.
That being said, this page and the next help explain why there are so many mages on the coast of Mississippi and Louisiana. I've put A LOT of thought into this entire series so that the world is as cohesive a place as ours.
