This was a bit of a difficult page story-wise. I really didn't want it to look like Terry was the kind of dick who would just hit a woman, but she was a thief, she insulted his beliefs and it was just a palm to the face. Technically she did all the work. The best thing I think was for him to state the fact that he didn't want to do it but it had to be done. I also think it sums up something about Terry's personality. There are things he doesn't like about what he does but in the end he does them because he is supposed to. So long as it's the right thing to do at any rate.
I had fun figuring out ways to make elves look different using color. No pupils in the eyes for one. Just this gradual darkening of a color. Also, you may not have noticed but shadows fall softer on her skin and are generally lighter. This is an attempt to imply her other-worldly nature. Expect more anime-ish hair colors on elves as well. It seems to help make them different. Not on all of them of course, but on some. Anyway. Enough of me for now. More later.
