Mota, unaware of Laci's situation, thinks that he would have no problem shielding her from harm. They are a nomadic tribe that travels around the wasteland, fighting to protect their land from the corrupt dicatorship. If they were to move to different locations often, that would be a very difficult task for a woman bearing a child.

Just as Laci was about to inform Mota of her pregnancy, Kadiim and the others barge in to the conversation and end it. hehehe Talk about bad timing xD (and to clear up anything, when Laci says she thinks she is pregnant, more than likely, she really is :3 Afterall, they did do what it takes to make a baby. ;3)
