As mentioned chapters ago (and has even been said in the comic forums), Mota and Serena have the same mother, but different fathers, which explains why they don't look alike :3 Notice Mota gets angry when Kadiim goofs up on that fact :s We never really heard much about Mota's biological father, all we are certain of is that his step dad was not a very kind person at all :x…They obviously had some sort of dispute before his step father's passing, which resulted in the cursing of both Mota and Serena.
