Ratchet does have a point xD. And of course all of us as readers know Ratchet isn't gonna do anything to hurt Laci while she's here, heck, her master plan has been revealed to us ^^;. So I guess in a weird way, Ratchet is temporarily on the side of the good guys xD.

She has passed Orn's little "Evaluation process", and even had a chance to sleep with her xD. And since it is war time, Ratchet isn't permitted to leave the tribe, and is forced to move to different camps during the harsh weather, until the battle is over :X.

Since she'll be spending most of her time serving and entertaining Orn, that would leave her very little time to really get in to any trouble, since the chief will be watching her at almost all times @.@. She's not that harmful now, is she? xD Hahahaha.
