Mota has probably gotten used to his little sister's 'eccentric' view of life since they were young. He's probably not asking any further because as you saw earlier, he's not big on prophecy or religion :p.

And Laci better watch it. She's close to crossing pirate territory x.x. But ofcourse, she's an outsider. She has no clue what these pirates even look like and how they roll lol. Let's just hope she's smart enough to tell the others that she spotted something strange off in the distance :s.
