The Crystal Maze was actually my prime source of inspiration for the 'shrine' here. I always thought, ever since I was a kid, that the Crystal Dome area was just about the coolest thing ever.
But with the background put on, and the dark floors, it is decidedly Cronenbergish. So, death to Videodrome, and long live the new Sprite!
