I love action scenes that function like a Rube Goldberg machine. This cause and effect structure is very present in all of Charlie Chaplin's physical comedy, and I tried my best to incorporate it where I could.
Chaplin's use of the environment in his gags has been extremely influential in cinema, but is especially present in the choreography of Jackie Chan movies.
One other thing, the sound effects style I used in this page is borrowed liberally from Japanese manga.
