A Plea for Help

Looks like the boys are pretty desperate, and Vic has heard it all. And, for the forest's sake, the Nocturnal Underbrush Creepers really do gotta go. They may be tough, but they're no match, for the keen mind of Vic Callintime, who will stay on the job, until the job is done. Because, he takes pride in what he does. Knowing that a mans work is the signet of who, or what he is. Those who slime through their work day, doing just barely enough to keep from getting fired, are just that kind of people. That is who they are. But if the man who cleans toilets, take pride in what he does, he will become the best toilet scrubber of all. And he may or may not be recognized, but regardless of his lowly position, his attitude towards his work shows a nobility of character that slouches with a higher position, cannot know, who always do the minimum, while expecting the maximum. These did not rise to their positions because of great skill, or talent. But, only because they have the sharpest of elbows. And all of their victims, lying at the bottom of the heap, are not less skilled than them, only less ambitious. And many times, the people with the best character, and the greatest skill can be found at the bottom of the heap. Because the wickedly ambitious, do not care who they destroy on their way up. So that the most qualified, are on the bottom sometimes, And on the top we find only the most wickedly ambitious. Risking everything for a short time in the sun. And just because nobody see's their fall, doesn't mean it wont occur, because it does, only they don't foresee it.
