Why does this always seem to happen to me? I'm truckin' along in my projects, when I'm suddenly hit with a freakin' crisis that I have no idea how to fix XP

Ok guys, I need your help. If you know how to fix this, it'd save me a lot of grief. I had the next strip about 80% done, I went to open it last night to finish it and suddenly, photoshop said "This file is not compatible with this version of photoshop" and wouldn't open. None of my other psds did this, jus the one. I didn't open it on ANY other computer except my laptop and I haven't done anything to photoshop since I first installed it. If you have ANY idea how to fix this, I'd very much appriciate it. If not, I'll just redo the strip for this friday (though I'd rather not have to)
