Hi!

Well, Makoto isn't trying to taste Hitomi's blood. She respects Hayate so much that she would give her life for him.

Also, note that she refers to Kôkatsu (Hayate's big brother) as "goshujinsama" which near translation is "master". In fact, not many vampires call him by his name.

Well, that elevator leads to Kôkatsu's bar…
