On the previous page, I mention the "vector layers". If your software supports it, use it! The difference between this kind and the typical "raster layer" is that you can manipulate the lines you draw. For example, if you're drawing hair and the lines don't intersect, you don't need to redraw it, only "pinch it" and fix it. (Example 1) On the other hand, if you draw the lines but get passed on the intesection, just use the "vector eraser" and you're done.
