The statue (I hope everyone can tell its a statue) is (unknown to them) the Human's interpretation of Arzala. Lady Arzala the Truthbringer is something like a Joan of Arc figure among humans, rather than the deity of vengeance among elves.

Hope everyone remembers the hunters. They're basically more animal than elf. And it seems they have the same goblin fetish as Laskar.
