This one answering Chtonic's question. I have played BG2 and TOB before, and I know what you mean (Fighter/Mage ftw! Mage unhittability & breaching other mages + fighter consistent damage output!) but magic works quite differently in Ark… A mage walking around with the normal kind of buffs you get in BG2 would pass out within minutes…
