Well, Here I am again, giving Steve time to colorize old stuff, and desperately trying to keep everything on time. So far, so good. I'm hoping to forgo the yearly hiatus around Christmas so that we can wind this sucker up. We'll see.

There has been some question on whether the limitation of access by other mythologies is fair to the large portion of Hindus in the present day … which is interesting because at least in my version of the universe, the Hindus believe in actual dieties, whereas I'm basically saying that all the monotheists believe in someone who doesn't exist.

My only answer is that religions don't die out just because the gods aren't or can't get involved. Once an ancient religion digs deep into a culture, there's no real reason they have to continue their constant interventions. As George Carlin said, he prays to Joe Pesci. Sure, Joe didn't answer George's prayers half the time, but his average is about the same as everyone else.

I do want to stress that this is all just a story. I don't believe in the Gods of Arr-Kelaan … or any mythologies for that matter.

There is a reason for all this exposition and set up. Enjoy the ride, everyone.

Oh! And I know that "Schismed" isn't a word. But it sure as heck is something Ronson would say. This isn't Claremont telling the story, after all!
