Okay, here we go …

This was my original Prelude story to the "Going Home" story. I was more than half way through it when I had a better idea for formatting the story and getting it started faster, so many of these pages sat in the bottom of a drawer for quite a few years.

One day, my friend J.T. Shea decided to print an anthology of comics created by the members of Nightgig, of which I am still a member … though not currently very involved with it because I suck.

Looking for a short story idea, I came across these pages, decided to add a few bits and pieces to it and sent him this story, which I at that point decided to call "A Tolerable Day"

This story was also added to the end of the printed version of "Myths & Legends", because it was the last story drawn in this style.

NOTE: There are no words to this story. This is intentional and was done as a challenge to the art part of comic drawing. This is the longest story I've ever written without dialogue, and it's often much more difficult for me than a scripted work. They're fun though, and I'm usually pretty satisfied with them.

I hope you like it … I'm not 100% how satisfying a dialogue free comic will work being parceled out slowly over the course of the next month and a half. We'll see.

Also: I'm still having trouble getting into a story writing groove, and anything you folks want to throw to me as fan art that I could use to fill out a few more weeks would be great.
