Easter 2013

So I did a little suggestive Easter pinup…  have to say I feltly slightly weird with it considering my story's recent subject matter, but I went ahead with it because…
a) what happened in one's past shouldn't inhibit one's present, including things sexual.
b) human sexuality is really a natural and good thing (although like all things human, it can be perverted and corrupted).  Stories that artificially shy away from it are being disingenuous.  Mine won't (but I will stay within teen-rated guidelines)
c) Easter, while primarily a Christian holiday, does coopt certain lusty pagan elements and symbols (eggs=birth, bunnies=rapid reproduction).  It's springtime; birds and bees time :)
Oh yeah, I'm experimenting with color a little bit and plan to with the comic in general.  We'll see how it goes.  I'm still afraid of painting too dark.  Going too dark with watercolor=no fixing it.  It's very unforgiving.  As I get more confident I'll try to get a little darker.
