I can attest that being in the deeps woods, at night, alone, can be a chilling experience.  Now add being severly injured and exhausted, along with superhuman senses going haywire, with some disturbing childhood memories thrown in… Wouldn't wish it on anyone.  Except my main character, apparently.  She doesn't like me at the moment.
