This flashback page is, of course, from Jack Caleb point-of-view.  Kimber Lee never experienced any of it directly.  All this occurs at the tail-end and after the 'helipad scene' (pgs 93-108).

Hues are darker than usual, as everything depicted here happened at night!

This page (and next few) are wordier than usual (which is saying something, considering how wordy I already am…).

My pace has slowed a little as we're trying to remodel a kitchen (and rescue things when the water heater sprung a leak…   Some people say Hot Water Heater - I just say Water Heater, as it doesn't heat 'hot' water…  how pedantic of me!)
