As with the Godstrain, this story is as much experimentation as just fun doing, and I'm constantly torn finding a balance between using 'exotic words' from an unknown language to help create a flavor, vs using English all the time. I wrestled with words like 'humans, humanity…' - would it be better to use a new term to refer to an 'us' in a different time/place?

Regardless, there's new terms here and there. A 'holtree' should be pretty easy to figure out. And you'll see Chaalii the Jubeast next page, and know what he looks like (although it should be obvious he's some sort of pet/beast of burden). As always you can refer to my glossary over there to the left, in my misc. links, if a term to escapes you.

So, this new character Rhiaan, likes jumping!
