EDIT: Previously, I had an exotic word on this page (Straan). A reader helpfully made me realize that, while it's okay to have exotic new words, if they mean largely the same thing in English, it's often best to just use the English word. I saw the wisdom…!

Still, I will have an unusual word appear at times, reflecting this exotic world. I intend it to be possible to glean the meaning of new words from the surrounding text. In any case, every time I introduce a new word I'll add it to my Glossary, which you can view anytime by clicking the link over there at upper left.

PLEASE NOTE: This is an experiment! You're officially invited to critique… If a new word or concept is jarring, throws you off, curls your lip, makes you walk away, etc.! Please say so (nicely, if you can lol)!! I'm not at all above changing things!! I want you guys to like this project, and won't turn away any attempt to make it better!
