In the movie Grey Owl, a white man pretended to be a Native-American for many years. He went around, giving speeches, drawing attention to the plight of Native-Americans and nature in general. At a Pow Wow, a Chief is looking him over closely. Then the Chief smiles, clearly recognizing what he really is, but instead of anger, he says:

"A man becomes what he dreams… you dreamed well."

Obviously I love that quote, and the sentiment behind it certainly courses though this story…

Anyway, what in the world does Maa'm have against the Maatrii and her family? I thought her speech was pretty cool!!

See that cornucopia horn looking thing in front of the Maatrii? These people have developed a organic pseudo-technology and that's supposed to be a sound amplifier (and that pole-thing behind her is a bio-light thing. There seems to be a reluctance to use fire, for any reason…). Anyway, I don't want to go too crazy with this bio-tech stuff (you won't see an organic BMW), instead keeping things pseudo-primitive… But the Boom-Caster, seen next page, is certainly interesting!
