Hey Everybody, the real world, esp. work, has been killing me lately. A few of you may have noticed my commenting on other comics has gotten quite sporadic. I deeply apologize, but the time just hasn't been there. But I will get back to commenting regularly when all this settles down. It's also affected the quality of my pages on this comic. You might notice the art is a bit 'looser' on several pages… I'm rushing! Maybe I should just stop completely until things settle, but that'll be very hard to do…

Okay, nuff whining! See that instrument that guy is playing? Last page I called it a boom-caster! I tried to think of what kinds of instruments a culture with a organic-technology might make. Anyway, I imagined the knobs on it as forming a sort of musical scale (two 'octaves' cuz there's two rows, although I think it's all probably quite different from western musical notation). Anyway, it was fun to create that thing…

Also, this comic got 11,883 view two days ago!! My elation lasted half a second before I realized there's no way that's correct. Likely, some sort of spam-bot, or someone (maybe me?) left a computer up with my comic displaying, and it got stuck and kept refreshing. maybe… (I think Oz confirmed that a single PC can create multiple views)

Anyway, Rhiaan's off and runnin'! How much trouble can she get in?!!
