Summer generally marks the time of year when all or nearly all of my friends leave town and I'm still here…

Sometimes this gets me a little down. When I drew this, I was especially mopey because I'd injured my lower back and was unable to really DO much of ANYthing and so that left me a lot of time to feel lonely (Ramiro was recovering from surgery as well and couldn't keep me company either!). Since then, things have improved mightily. :)

Sorry there's no joke in this week's comic. Next week there'll be something at least MILDLY funny for sure! Promise.
