The first "chapter" (I'll indulge the DD terminology) is only 17 pages. I don't know why I randomly decided on 17 pages- the scripting was pretty haphazard, with very little editing- just kind of puked it out and got started. From henceforth, the chapters are a standard 32 pages. I don't know if I mentioned it before, but when we hit the second chapter, I'll start updating twice a week. I know we're moving a bit sloooooowly with the Saturday updates, but I wanted to have the 2nd chapter completed to give me a healthy backlog before I speed up the pace. I'm new to the whole concept of making a webcomic- I'm more of the zine-makin', xerox warrior type- so I'm kinda learning as I go. I usually do all the pencils for the issue, then go back and ink it- that's how I've always worked, but it makes it impossible for the "make a page then immediately update" type schedule. I might try it that way on issue #3, but access to a scanner is also something I've got to work out. Shit. I'm probably giving you too much information about things of no real importance. Boooooring. Moving on…

I also wanted to thank all you guys (oh, all right- and "gals"; although I consider "guy" gender-neutral). Your comments really do make my day. It took 7 long years to finally start this comic, and as obsessively as I work on this little mess, it really means the world to me to know that folks are actually reading it.

Yuck. I'm-a end this transmission before we get all mushy-gushy-touchy-feely-sensitive up in here. Sheesh. Next thing you know I'll be sipping herbal tea, talking about my feelings, and reading "touching" true-life stories out of those magazines they sell at the grocery checkout. *shudder*
