And here we are, right where we left off. The first couple chapters I'm-a call "introductory"; if #1 was introducing the Hub to ya, then #2 kinda introduces the characters in a bit more depth. (And yeah- they actually do leave the bar.) The exposition gets a bit annoying to me- at least to write. But at the same time, seein' as I consider this comic "character-driven", I figured I'd better let ya get to know everyone better; otherwise, why the fuck should you care about anything that happens to 'em?

@Rickswan: Heh. I'll tell ya- Heavy Metal (the mag, mind ya) was a HUGE influence on me growin' up. But it won't get too hardcore here. (Gotta hold onto that "M" rating for dear life, see?) Like the lady said, it probably ain't much worse than somethin' you'd see on TV- like one of them sleazy reality shows, or some shit. Except without the bleepin' of the words and the blurrin' of the boobs. And less pretty people. And more monsters. And y'all don't get to vote anyone out of the comic. Sorry.
@ShinuZero & zaymac: Nah, I agree. I'm 100% B&W at heart. ;) My shrink even accuses me of "black and white thinking". Make of that whatcha will.
@Avie: Her name's Lumbria. She appears a bit later in the issue (sorry guys, it's a while 'fore we see the strip club), and a couple more times throughout the story. Like I said, she ain't a main character. But she turns up every now and again.
@PeiPei: Thanks! That means a lot, considerin' the badassedness of your comic.
@Madisonchance: Ooh! "Beyond the metaphysical veil"! I like that; I might steal it. ;)
@PatrickDevine: Tentacles? Well- Kinda. She's got worms for fingers.
@pinkbatmax: And on a related note: no fear required. They're not, um, *those* kind of tentacles.
@Wordweaver: Nah, I'm like, twenty times the creep you can even think about bein', buddy. ;)
