Incentive! One of the original character sketches fer Calamity. ***
I'm-a have me a fanart contest in commemoration of the Hub's one year anniversary here on the Duck. Details here. There's prizes and shit. Check it out.
*** At Freegurt: Glad ya dug the recommends- they're definitely worth chackin' out, in my not-so-humble opinion!
@ usedbooks: I have spent time in WV. I've even gone there… on purpose! (Fer, um, wrestlin', at that.) I'm from the Appalachians (Eastern Kentucky) so it's kinda my, er… heritage? ;) I may or may not still have kin there, too.
@ worstcase: Heh. I should make a FAQ section, and "How long does it take you to ink a page?" would be the only Q/A! ;) A: Average time about 10-12 hours, but I've spent up to 24 on a page, includin' the pencils.
@ Kristen and repoman: Well, Cutter's been established as a pretty unreliable source of information, so it's anybody's guess whether he's telling the truth here. The answer does appear earlier in the comic, though, if'n ya can find it.
Y'all also raise an interesting point about the time/space continuum of the Hub- if people from different dimensions/realities coexist here, what about people from different time periods of the same reality, or alternate versions of the same world? That's anybody's guess, too. ;)
