I get these grand ideas for comics & then try to draw them only to realize that I'm a minimalist artist not a detail guy. D'oh!
Also I tend to fake backgrounds in Photoshop, but since I have to print these off on a B&W printer to scan them in to put up, I have to actually think about drawing backgrounds. 8-o
For inspiration on drawing jungles I look at old issues of The Warlord & Tarzan comics… and realize that I ain't that good.
