Cabbageheads

Cabbageheads in non-textual stories is a necessary evil because information can usually only be given through dialogue. What bugs me is that cabageheads have been making their way into textual stories where they are not necessary. Each form of storytelling has it's own strengths and weaknesses. In a book, short story or comic the author can speak directly to the reader, but too many people think that books, short stories & comics should emulate film & tv despite the fact that they are not film or tv nor should they try to be.
