Back in the day with Coga Nito they had this text chat program thing I'd use sometimes for conversation boxes, and for ease of communication between characters inside this thing and outside of it, I'd have the characters inside able to perceive and interact with the chatboxes (i.e., they could speak out loud and the person they were talking to would see it on the screen, the person would type and they'd… be aware of it). I considered bringing that back here but honestly I'm not totally happy with it as a concept, it feels like unnecessary complication. So I simplified it to a voice thing so as not to overtax Liz's brain too much. Still not 100% happy with it as is to be honest, but I've changed enough stuff in this chapter before release so I'll just let this one lie.
