The Leftovers

Leftovers Cast Page
dgriff13 onSo, this was my old comic strip concept, circa 1994-2006. It's basically "Real World" minus the over-dramatized B.S. I spent my early 20's bouncing from apartment to apartment in rent-a-room situations (that's right- meet them online or from a classified ad, and LIVE with a *&%# stranger… interesting stuff). I was a poor college grad who couldn't afford my own crappy apartment, as are many college grads today. So, I worked in my characters from my high school comic, and thus became the "Leftovers".
I retired it in '06, after a long 10 years of rejections from syndicates. They said it didn't reach a wide enough audience– the whole "rent-a-room" bit. Oh well. These characters were my babies for so long, but now I see them & the concept as kind of corny. Now I have my little alien-dog friends, and I'm very excited where "Z&F" is going.
