So much magic! At Norwich, of course, the students tend to learn how to use magic without needing a physical focus, but wands, athames, and the like are available for students who need them. They are generally viewed as a kind of crutch, but they are nonetheless valued for their utility and are indispensable in some kinds of spellcasting.
