Nighttime Camping

After an epic three day climb through all manner of treacherous passes in the dangerous Candida Mountain range, where many go in, but never come out, whose valley below is littered with the corpses of those who've failed, our heroes found a spot suitable for base camp. Exhausted, they sit around the campfire, contemplating all they've been through silently, when Hedgedude, understandably annoyed at the whole affair, what with the Enchanted Chancroid and all, he began to speak his mind in no uncertain terms, and prepared to go on, to some length, Hotpant's ears suddenly pricked up. A voice, calling out, a voice in the wind, a mysterious voice nearby! The sound of it captivated Hotpants's mind. When Hedgedude noticed this, he ceased speaking. And the Colonel simply contemplated the whole matter deeply. Hotpant's rose up, and began to search around the whole area, convinced that what they sought was nearby.
