The Middle of Nowhere

The void can be a very dangerous place. There's not much to look at, but the constant pink colour. Many experience a kind of blindness known as "Pink Blind". To avoid this, special glasses with small slits are worn. But, sometimes when there's a blow, total pink out conditions can occur. And then, a man cant see his hand in front of his face. Such a pink out condition occurred, shortly after our heroes left the lair of Magna Rex, causing the A-Team to wander aimlessly in the void. Until after a couple of days, they came under the shelter of a large lithopedion. Exhausted, worn-out, and their morale at a new low, they sat out the squall that was blowing, forlorn as they were, and simply stared out into the void, expecting this to be their final destination. Hunger and thirst, eating away at their strength. They continued this way for hours, nobody saying a word. Until the Colonel began to stir. When Hotpants asked the Colonel if he was doing ok, the Colonel answered in the strangest way. He insisted that he could smell the sweet savour of Fat Bart's Dogs! Hotpants looked at the other two, they looked at him, and just shook their heads, sadly, believing that the old boy had finally slipped a gear. Fat Bart's Dogs, indeed. Out here? In the void? Until Man Monster's nose pricked up, insisting that he smelt it also! And if there is food around, Man Monster will find it, be it man or beast. And Lo and behold! Not twenty paces away, was a sack of delicious Fat Bart's Dogs! Oh, that famous flavour. And four bottles of cool water! Our heroes were so desperate, they did not let the strangeness of the situation keep them for one minute from devouring those heavenly sausages, and quenching their dire thirst with that delicious, crystal clear water. Refreshed and invigorated from the unusual meal, our heroes were now faced with somewhat of a mystery! How the hell did Fat Bart's get all the way out here? Just where they happened to conk out, on the edge of the vast expanse of the Lithopedion Valley, which lay before them. How did Fat Bart's get out there? Did Magna Rex find them again? Would he even do a kind thing? And what the hell is a lithopedion anyway? Join us again next time…in the Lithopedion Valley, in the abyss that is the Hula Hoop void! Will our heroes ever find the way out?
