Taking the note in hand from the Colonel, Hotpants determined that if they followed the instructions on the note, they would be able to find their way through the Lithopedion valley, and since the note was kind of a map, of all the Lithopedions in the valley, they can determine the direction in which they need to follow to make it back to the Trichomoniasis king. Except that the map would only give them a partial clue, where the next lithopedion was located. But when compared to the carvings on the backside of the Lithopedions, both of these would give them a precise clue to the next lithopedion. These were the instructions on the note, along with a set of strange symbols. And luck being with them, the large stone they happened to take shelter under, during the pink out, just happened to be the first lithopedion the note instructed them to find. So, walking around to where they determined its backside to be, they found a strange carving, with a mysterious symbol. And when compared to the symbols on the chart, in their note, they gained a perfect bearing to the next lithopedion that the map was directing them to. What are these strange symbols? Who placed them there? Can they be trusted? Hotpants had instructed the team to use only two bottles of water to quench their thirst, sharing them as they would have to, while saving the other two to be used as needed for the journey ahead. As for the delicious Fat Bart's Dogs, it was wiser to store that resource on the inside, rather than the outside, since a body requires water more than food. Hedgedude, being an expert whittler, whittled up four pairs of pink goggles for the team, since out in the vast pink void, pink blindness would be a very real threat. And so off the team trekked, in the direction determined by the symbols. The void is a dangerous place, with hidden perils, beyond every valley. And dangers untold. Join us again, next time.
