Hedgedude, being an excellent field chef, thought it may be a good idea to roast the beast, and devour it, since our heroes were hungry, and the beast was dead. And so, he did just that. And all of them did eat of the beast, and were strengthened by its protein rich flesh. Man Monster kept flinching, insisting that he feels eyes upon him! But then reasoned that it must be the itis from devouring much beast flesh. Which actually shrunk somewhat as it was done, having a great deal of fat that had to be rendered off. However, once done, it was quite delicious, as the Colonel believed. And so, having feasted themselves, to their heart's content, they all fell into an uneasy sleep, because of various noises through the night and mysterious shadows flitting about, preparing their minds and bodies for the trek to the eleventh lithopedion that they would begin in the morning. What lurks in the shadows? What manner of eyes peer through the overgrowth at our heroes? What is this feeling of being watched? Join us again next time! As our heroes make their way through the deadly Lithopedion Valley, and must now face the dangers of the Gully Hollow Gulch of the Johns, in their fateful anabasis through the mysterious Hula Hoop void!
