As the A-Team struggled up to the summit of the hill that overlooks the city and all the environs about, as fast as they could, knowing there was little time, they were stunned and surprised to find that Wildomeu had already established a fortified position, on the very top of the hill. Whats more, is he informed the A-Team, that many back in Tradertown, did not support the uprising against Man Monster's bosshood, and that he still had many friends willing to support him. Because they realize that if Man Monster and his 'A-Team' could find a way out of the void, then this would give hope to everyone, who was hopelessly trapped in the void as well. And realizing that the hope of the A-Team, was wrapped up in the fate of the parasite king, they knew know that the first step to freedom from the void, was to ensure that the Parasite King does not perish. Now the parasite King, and the bosses of tradertown never exactly saw eye to eye. But the bosses of Tradertown knew that the parasite king was the only thing keeping any semblance of order. And they were not unaware of the king's formidable forces. And for the parasite king's part, He realized that if he were to march on Tradertown, then these 'outsiders' would scatter, having no center. And they'd be everywhere! And that's no good. So, he wisely adopted a hands off policy on Tradertown, reasoning that at least this way, he could contain the outsiders in one location. And this understanding worked for the longest time, but the bad elements of Tradertown, who supported the uprising against Man Monster, allied themselves with the low lives and scum of the void, to overthrow the parasite King, and take charge for themselves. Which was unthinkable, to the better sorts. Because being Corrupt as the low lives were, They would therefore, turn to shit anything they touch. Having no sense of justice, good, or honour. And the final state of the void would become seven times worse than the former. Realizing all this, they flocked to Wildomeu, volunteering their support for the A-Team's cause, and thus, their own. The best of them, Wildomeu armed and trained in the art of the sniper. The rest, he armed and trained as footmen, who would stand on the line firmly, with shield and sword, with discipline, never breaking ranks. And to those who did not have the heart to fight? He made medics, cooks, and transporters. The company of snipers were with him, on the hilltop. And the foot, were less than a half day's march from their location. When Man Monster and the A-Team understood all this, they were greatly heartened by the good news. And they prepared themselves, heart and mind, for the battle that would surely come on the morrow.
