Colonel Uncle Sam is maybe still a bit bitter from World War II…
You might be disappointed that we're backtracking a few strips back, but I've decided that all strips will be colored from now on. It doesn't matter how long it takes or how hard I have to work, but I vow to myself to get one strip done per week or more. I'm getting rusty and coloring this strip made me relearn things all over again that I should have never forgotten. Let's just say it's a good thing I have my old strips to look back on for help. But take into consideration that I'm also working on a second children's book, a superhero comic book commission (a whole comic book), a few family portraits/caricatures, and other commissions which come first. But I'm otherwise vowing to get a strip done per week. I also need to just to unwind and keep myself entertained, fulfilled, and my work feeling fresh. Staying on one thing too long can be tiresome and boring. Speaking of which, I'm also ending this chapter of SuperMilo earlier than expected. I think it's more dramatic and works better that way, anyway. Then the next chapter will begin, and I guarantee you'll love it - more SuperMilo and more familiar gags and jokes! I have other self-publish projects I'd like to work on, but I know for a fact that I can't do more than commissions and SuperMilo right now unless I hire an artist.
Oh, and please note that I'll be going back and deleting and organizing all SuperMilo comic websites' comic archives/uploads for a cleaner reading experience. All black and white work and duplicate posts will be taken out. My apologies to any comments that will go with them. Please comment again. :-) I appreciate all the AWESOME people who show their interest in my work.
