Okay, I had forgotten about an on-line update from Microsoft and it seems to have messed with my scanner. I downloaded/reloaded this third party driver I found on the net and got my scanner working for at least one scan. I'll keep scanning every day so get the next comic ready. It's drawn out fully so it's just a matter of getting it onto my computer digitally. I almost had it scanned in but the scanner just outright stopped in the middle of scanning. My scanner has only given my grief since I 'updated' to Windows Vista.
